Phoenix

Phoenix is the largest city in Arizona and our state capitol. With an estimated population of 1.7 million residents, the city is the fifth-largest in the country. Phoenix encompasses a little over 500 square miles and is generally flat, creating beautiful views against the scattered lower mountain ranges throughout the city which include the McDowell Mountains to the northeast, South Mountain and the Sierra Estrella Mountain Range to the south and southwest, the Superstition Mountains to the east, and the White Tank Mountains to the west. Phoenix offers a wide range of diverse neighborhoods from high-end living in the Biltmore area which encompasses everything from smaller lock and leave homes to private estates to the large master planned community of Desert Ridge to the northeast comprising 5,700 acres of shops, restaurants, resort hotels, hospitals, and major corporations. Urban living is plentiful with condos and high-rise apartments in the heart of downtown Phoenix. Phoenix has everything one could want in a major city.  Downtown Phoenix is home to the Arizona Diamondbacks Baseball Team and the Phoenix Suns NBA team.
